Step 1:

Place the jewelry box lid face down on the theme park map.

Step 2:

With your ruler measure the length of the sides. Our box lid side is 11/16” tall which we’ll round up to an inch. With a pen or pencil make two marks an inch away from each side.

Step 3:

With an X-ACTO knife or scissors cut a straight line on each side using the marks from the previous step. The end results should be a perfect square.

Step 4:

Use the spray adhesive to lightly spray the box lid. You only need a small amount of glue. Immediately place the lid on the center of the map and press firmly making sure the map is nice and smooth. Place the lid on a flat surface and continue to apply pressure. I placed a water bottle on the lid and let it dry for about 30 minutes.

Step 5:

Before we glue the sides, fold the map over on each side to get an idea of what your finished lid will look like. Lightly spray the map on one side. Fold it over and under the side of the lid. Apply pressure with your thumb and index finger for about a minute or until the map stays in place. Repeat this on the opposite side of the lid.

Step 6:

Fold in the sides and fold them over like wrapping the ends of a Christmas present (see above). Spray the map and fold them over and under the lid. Apply pressure until the sides stay in place. Let the lid dry for 30 minutes to an hour.
